Cycle 6, Episodes 5: "The Girl Who Kissed a Male Model"
We’re down to ten models.
Gina was shocked that she wasn’t sent home at the last elimination. So were we, girl.
IMO she should have just volunteered to go home. She tells us she can still rock it but that Jade is getting in her way. No. Gina’s in her own way over and over again and there is no hope of her doing well in the competition at this point.
This is Nnenna’s boyfriend back home.
She says he can be controlling, which is a no-no, Nnenna. Run, girl!
The models meet up with former ANTM judge Janice Dickinson.
She teaches them the difference between commercial and editorial posing along with Cycle 5’s diaper-peeing diva Lisa.
Janice singles out Gina making her jump up and down on one leg and laugh.
I want to call out Joanie sitting in an exaggerated “…Baby One More Time” pose.
Oof. Protect those joints, Joanie!
Janice has lunch with everyone and acts like she’s playing around wanting to know who’s giving Gina crap in the house.
Gina names Jade, which is the kiss of death for her. Janice hates naming “bitches”.
The models meet up with Lawrence Zarian who has a very questionable hairstyle.
Thankfully, he’s gotten it under control.
Their challenge is to do four photos one after the other in different seasonal setups.
Nnenna wins.
Her prize is a bunch of clothes from Sears. SEARS?!
The models meet up with Tyra backstage after she films her talk show. I’d forgotten about The Tyra Show.
She talks to them about how her dream when she was younger (besides modeling) was to be a talk show host. She makes everyone say their childhood career aspiration. Here they are:
Jade - teacher
Furonda - human rights attorney
Mollie Sue - makeup artist
Gina - fashion designer
Danielle - singer
Sara - attorney
Brooke - nurse anesthetist (not a childhood dream)
Joanie - housewife
Nnenna - chemist (specifically in Africa)
Leslie - criminal justice investigator
That then becomes their wardrobe for this week’s photoshoot and they’ll be working with hot male models because why not?
For no reason, Nnenna ends up kissing the male model on her shoot.
And the model was visibly turned on by it.
Nnenna talks to her over-controlling boyfriend that night, and he KNOWS there’s trouble. But she lies to him.
Who in the Beans from “Even Stevens” is this poor man in Tyra’s photo this week?
The photoshoot falls into the ANTM habit of being a strange concept in a studio. Let’s go somewhere outdoors and exciting! Not just a room entirely painted white.
I do like Leslie’s photo.
Brooke’s outfit is way too hoed up.
Joanie’s cute but I mostly appreciate the male model.
Sara looks hot. Her skirt is WAY too short. And the Keanu Reeves male model doesn’t hurt.
Furonda looks good.
Mollie Sue’s is fine.
Nnenna’s is also fine. But there is no need for a chemist to be this sensual.
Danielle’s face is kind of hidden in hers.
No one can imagine Jade being a teacher and this hair is a choice.
Gina’s is - surprise - bad.
So she FINALLY gets eliminated. I was surprised to learn that she actually did model some after the show.

Other than that, I can’t find much about her these days.
